Scarlett's Frocks & Threads boutique is based in Mayfield High Street, just a short journey outside of Uckfield. With ample free parking around you don't need to stress about finding and paying for parking.

With an independent boutique like ours you benefit from an individual experience that you wouldn't get from mass retailers. Our highly recommended service is built around you, we get to know your preferences and you can enjoy trying on an array of dresses until you find the one. Once you have made your selection we will keep a note of your dress and the school prom you are attending so that your dress won't be sold to another attendee. Your dress will be completely unique to you.

To make your dress the perfect fit we have a talented team of in-house seamstresses who can tailor and make any alterations necessary.

How much do your prom dresses cost?

Our gowns are designer dresses, primarily by Morilee. Prices typically start from £400+.

Do you offer alterations or payment options?

We require a 50% deposit when ordering your dress, with the remaining balance due when it arrives in store. We also provide a professional alterations service on dresses purchased from us (alterations are chargeable and not included in the gown price) to ensure a perfect fit.

Can I order a dress in a different size or colour?

Our boutique stocks around 250 prom styles, including a hand-picked selection of 60 new dresses each year. Only gowns from our current season Prom Collection can be reordered in different sizes or colours, and orders must be placed by the end of February to guarantee delivery in time for June and July proms. After this date, these styles are still available ready-to-wear in store, so you can try them on and take your perfect dress home immediately. We also offer alterations to make sure your dress fits flawlessly.
